Appointment, Cancellation & Payment Policy

Scheduling

You can request an appointment online or call either clinic. Your appointment is confirmed only when our team contacts you to confirm the date and time. We accept walk-ins when possible, but scheduled patients are seen first.

Arriving for your visit

New patients should arrive 15 minutes early to complete registration. Returning patients should arrive 10 minutes early. Please bring a photo ID and your medication list.

Late arrivals

If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, we may need to reschedule your appointment so that other patients are not delayed. We will always do our best to accommodate you.

Cancellations and no-shows

Please give at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule, so we can offer your time to another patient. Repeated missed appointments without notice may result in a no-show fee, as disclosed at registration, or limits on future scheduling.

Minors

A parent or legal guardian must accompany patients under 18 at their first visit and is responsible for payment for services provided to the minor, except where Texas law allows a minor to consent to their own care.

Payment at the time of service

AMMG is a self-pay practice: we do not bill or accept health insurance, and our care is never based on insurance. Payment for each visit or service is due at check-in. We accept most major payment methods; ask our front desk if you need help.

Good Faith Estimate

You have the right to a Good Faith Estimate of expected charges before your visit. See Fees & Payment for details.

Receipts for reimbursement

If you would like to seek reimbursement from a health plan, HSA, or FSA on your own, we can provide an itemized receipt (superbill) on request. Reimbursement is not guaranteed.

Statements and refunds

Balances are due within 30 days of your statement date. If you overpay, we will refund the credit balance within 30 days of identifying it, or apply it to a future visit at your request.
