Mental health is health. At Adeline Memorial Medical Group, our psychiatric and behavioral health services help children, teens, and adults feel more like themselves again — with care that is private, respectful, and free of judgment.

Because we are also your primary care practice, we can look at the full picture: how sleep, chronic conditions, medications, hormones, and life stress affect your mood and focus. That integrated view leads to better answers and safer treatment.

What to expect at your first visit

  1. A conversation, not a checklist. Your provider will ask about your symptoms, health history, family history, and what you hope to change.
  2. Screening and assessment. We may use validated questionnaires and, when appropriate, lab work to rule out physical causes such as thyroid problems or vitamin deficiencies.
  3. A shared plan. Together we decide on next steps — which may include medication, therapy referrals, lifestyle changes, or a combination.
  4. Regular follow-up. We check in on progress, side effects, and goals, adjusting your plan as needed.
